For Students Impacted by the
Juvenile Justice
& Foster Care Systems
providing hope, healing,
& opportunity for more
prosperous futures.
All students who have been impacted by the the juvenile justice and/or foster care systems deserve a chance at a prosperous future. That's why we're passionate about empowering their education community (guardians, caseworkers, probation officers, teachers, school leaders, and community organizations) to have more meaningful and impactful interactions with them with the hope of receiving their high school diploma and preparing them for postsecondary success!
We believe that, when provided with the right resources, opportunities and dedicated guidance from their education community, students who have been impacted by the juvenile justice and/or foster care systems will have the ability to tap into buried potential and unearth sound decision-making skills that will last a lifetime
how we serve
STUDENTS IMPACTED BY THE JUVENILE JUSTICE & FOSTER CARE SYSTEMS
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR NONPROFIT, foster care & JUSTICE IMPACTED PROGRAMS
When students who have been impacted the juvenile justice and foster care systems have missed a significant amount of school, we provide evidence-based, academic consultation and professional development to community/church organizations, residential centers, day reporting programs, detention centers, and temporary foster care placement centers with the goal of helping students earn credits towards high school graduation.
academic improvement planning for Schools & Educators
When students who have been impacted by the juvenile justice and foster care systems are unable to engage and learn in the classroom, we provide professional development for school leadership, teachers and support staff with the goal of creating an education community team to address student academic and behavioral concerns.
ACADEMIC SUPPORT FOR STUDENTS IMPACTED BY UNAUTHORIZED IMMIGRATION
When students who have been impacted by unauthorized immigration are struggling to earn credits toward graduation, we provide academic support to ensure they are receiving ENL services and have access to an equitable and quality education.
GUIDANCE & SUPPORT FOR CARETAKERS
When caretakers of students who have been impacted by the juvenile justice, foster care, and unauthorized immigration systems feel that all hope is gone, we help them understand their student’s academic options and advocate to ensure their student receives an equitable and quality education so they can earn credits toward high school graduation.
an unwavering commitment
